An international classroom
at Yihai, Beijing.
It began in 2005 — our first Canadian high-school cooperative programme opened at Wangfujing No. 25 in Beijing, a first cohort of just 18 students. Two years later, in 2007, the Beijing campus moved to the international division at Beijing No. 8 (Yihai) in Fengtai, where it is today.
This is where all of Sino Bright began, and it still sets the standard. The Chinese and Canadian flags rise side by side before the main building; students’ own potted plants line the corridor sills. Twenty years on, Beijing still holds the classroom to a Canadian measure.
Beyond the classrooms is a full campus — an indoor pool, sports grounds and labs — so students in Beijing live a genuinely international high-school life, in their own city.
